Onye Aghana Nwanne Ya! — nobody should abandon their kinsman.
The Anambra Family Association of Memphis (AFAM) is a US-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that unites people of Anambra and Igbo heritage living in Memphis and the surrounding area. We come together to support one another, preserve our culture and language, welcome new families, and give back — both here in Memphis and back home in Anambra State, Nigeria.
Our members celebrate milestones together, mentor the next generation, and organize charitable initiatives. Guided by our motto, “Onye Aghana Nwanne Ya!”, we believe no one should be left behind.
